CLAY DIFFUSER

Materials

• No bake or Sculpy clay (can be purchased online or at craft stores)
• Clay knife or shaping tools
• Small bowl of water for smoothing clay
• Fresh or dried botanicals for imprinting (optional)
• Parchment paper
• Cookie sheet (for Sculpy clay)

Instructions

• Prep the work surface by laying out parchment paper on table or counter top.
• Pinch off a piece of clay of desired size.
• Work clay by rolling on hard surface and/or kneading with hands.
• To mold into a disc shape, roll clay into a ball and flatten (you can use the bottom of a glass for this). It’s easy to create small bowls, stones and unique shapes as well.
• Add botanical imprint by positioning it on top of clay disc and pressing into the clay.
• Place air dried clay discs on parchment paper and allow to dry for 24-48 hours. For Sculpy clay, bake in conventional oven following instructions on packaging.
• Once dried, add a few drops of lavender essential oil to your creation and feel the calm!
