BLOOM SEASON NOTICE
Here’s what happened in 2019, 2020 and 2021: bud-break for the earliest English-type lavender occurred early in June, opening the lavender season. Unfortunately, Mother Nature is increasingly unpredictable, and we must wait to see what she dishes out for spring-time weather before guessing when the 2022 season will launch. We generally expect to be harvesting English-type lavenders in the latter half of June, followed by the French hybrids in early July. To best appreciate our wide assortment of lavender and lavandin varieties, plan a June visit, before too many of the flowers have found their way into the still.
