Still Waters Lavender, a high desert lavender farm on five+ acres three miles NE of Redmond, Oregon, was established in 2011 with approximately 300 plants and eight varieties of lavender.   Since 2011, we have grown to more than 5000 plants and 30+ genetically-selected varieties for cold-hardiness and successful survival in our high desert climate.  Ponderosa Pine trees, one completed greenhouse, a gift shop with many unique one-of-a-kind items, a processing room and beautiful hues of purple, white, blue and pink lavender will come into view as you crest the ridge.  We are open to the public year around.  We suggest you telephone in advance of coming.  Our telephone number is 541-788-0605.

We offer lavender plants for sale, u-pick (or we pick), fresh lavender bundles (seasonal), beautifully hand dyed silk scarves, a plethora of unique handmade items (flax and lavender-filled neckwraps and eye pillows, soup bowls made with lavender-print fabric, lavender-filled hardanger heart sachets as well as organza sachets and aromatherapy dolls),  several varieties of culinary lavender for your cooking pleasure as well as other foodstuffs–lavender honey, lavender syrup and lavender preserves–which will delight your taste buds. We welcome you to visit our Facebook website:

The bees will be buzzing, the lady bugs, praying mantis and other creatures will be diligently working beside us in the field and, as my dad instilled in his kids, “Always leave the land in better shape than you found it.”

Take Hwy 97 until you come to O’Neil Hwy turn-off (blinking light). Head east (towards Prineville) for approximately four miles and turn right onto 33rd Street (gravel road). As you come over the first rise (about a quarter of a mile), we are the second property on the left lined with Ponderosa Pine trees, a greenhouse, processing shed, horseshoe pits, the beginnings of a labyrinth and a field with 30 varieties of lavender.
