LNW PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
PROFESSIONAL MEMBER DISTINCTIONS
In order to register, all pro members must choose a sub-group:
PRO-MEMBER – GROWER & PRODUCER
Most members will belong to this category because they actually grow lavender in the Pacific NW or make products with NW-grown lavender.
PRO-MEMBER – SERVICES & SUPPLIERS
A few members will belong to this category, because they are in the business of providing to our members their lavender-related services, equipment, supplies, or products-for-resale.
Note: LNW uses these sub-group designations to facilitate our profile-building and the appropriate promotion of our member businesses.
PROFESSIONAL membership in Lavender Northwest is open to individuals with a commitment to NW-grown lavender — growers, processors, and product creators. We also welcome business owners who specialize in services, equipment, or lavender-themed items that are needed or desired by our members.
BENEFITS
- Voting privileges in the annual Lavender Northwest Board elections and for all other important matters that involve the direction and activities of the organization.
- Attend quarterly meetings of Lavender Northwest which provide opportunities to share and learn with lavender professionals. These take place in both online and in-person formats.
- Enroll additional members under your professional membership, allowing you to designate up to three family members or other active participants in your business as “Business Affiliates.” They have participation and access rights similar to other ProMembers, at a small fraction of the annual dues. (Note: they do not, however, have an independent voting privilege.)
- Participate in the LNW workgroups and contribute to the association’s expansion and ability to serve you and your fellow members. Click HERE for mission & workgroup details.
- LNW monthly newsletter subscription which is widely distributed and loaded with information and news about lavender cultivation and applications. Meeting notices and special features like interviews with professional growers are often included. Email subscription only.
- Discounted admission to special Lavender Northwest conferences.
- Purchase Lavender NW wholesale products with group buying power.
- Enjoy automatic promotion of your farm or business through the LNW website, based on specific attributes that you specify in your business profile.
- List your special events or time-limited offerings on the Lavender NW Events Calendar.
- Inclusion in LNW’s social media postings through our FaceBook and Instagram pages.
- Inclusion in the Lavender NW professional members roster which is a convenient way for website visitors and fellow members to obtain your business contact information.
- Regular email notifications related to upcoming meetings, networking, promotional opportunities, and lavender business insights.
Current Annual Dues for Professional Members: $150
All ProMembers have the option of registering up to three Business Affiliates at $30 each, renewing annually.
